Dungeons and Dragons Club: “Pick Your Poison!”

Community School For Social Justice has opened students to join the gratifying and amusing club of Dungeons and Dragons hosted by 11th grade history educator: Anthony Bernardo, who has been the Dungeon Master since 2017 to 2025 and continuing. The club includes a summary of around 6-7 kids from various grades and whether they’re experienced or inexperienced, the excitement these students have for this opportunity of creativity is live.

Meeting on Wednesdays after school or during lunch throughout the week, teachers and students can always see how fun such a diverse group of students always have, no matter how short or difficult an adventure can be. D&D club is known to be one of the longest ongoing clubs here at CSSJ and although the club has been gaining and losing students coming in and out of the school; new and going members remember all of the great moments spent with the great community, the club and able to get the opportunity of expressing themselves.

In the D&D club, students are able to role play using their creative thinking skills, their character sheets and guides from experiences like Shadow Darkling’s and DragonBane, allowing their adventures to come to life.
