Photography, the art of the mind.

Everyone takes photos of the things or people they like, or maybe things or people they don’t like depending on the context. Aside from that, photos are present in most people’s lives, but I want to ask a question. What type of photos would you take?

I’ll go first!

The 6 train line, when I arrived at Castle Hill to exercise with some Marines. This was a photo of the sky that I took, and believe me, this was a shot worth sharing.
Once again, on the 6 train line near Castle Hill. Honestly, that location has some amazing photo opportunities.
My point stands, just take the 6 train yourself and you’ll understand.
Some dystopian style buildings under a grey sky, unfortunately I can’t remember just where I took this…
A quiet sunset in a park near my house, the pink sky was just begging to be photographed.

Photography is one of many ways to see the thoughts and feelings of someone in the moment. Who they are the second that button is pressed and their ideal photo is taken. From the angle to the focal point, all the way down to the blurs and instability, every little detail is an explanation as to just who you are, and who you were, when that photo was taken.

My mind wanders to the sky, where does yours wander to?
