A long line of students has started appearing this year, by the bathroom. There is a new bathroom policy affecting not only Health Opportunities High School (HOP), which was the school that was intended for, but also Community School for Social Justice (CSSJ), according to anonymous sources. This policy requires a lot of patience on students’ part.
During school hours from 8am-3pm, there’s a bathroom policy for HOP’s females students, where this bathroom policy became a rule in mid-November of 2025 because of the discovery of piercings occurring between students in the bathroom. Some piercings were happening in the bathroom stalls include tongue piercings, ear piercings, and nose piercings.
So, an adjustment had to be made, there was a rule that was created which females had to follow regarding only using one singular stall securing that nobody can continue doing the piercings in the bathroom but with that being said this rule has its downsides. Many females that had nothing correlated with the piercings have to follow the one bathroom stall policy, which not only causes a long waiting line but also causes longer periods of time where the girls are out of class and it affects the community school for social justice because both schools are combined many misjudge or believe that those who go to CSSJ are hop students and sometimes those girls are made to wait on the females line for the one singular stall which is not only unfair but its time taking many people just want to come in and out of the bathroom stalls but it makes it a difficult for CSSJ. In fact at the beginning of November when the bathroom policy arose all the girls weather from CSSJ or from hop were mandatorily told to use the one bathroom stall because of the principles new rule and this caused chaos here is some photos of females waiting on line to use the bathroom .
