Library Becomes the Heart of Lunchtime Life at CSSJ

At the Community School for Social Justice (CSSJ), students go to play and paint during lunchtime at the library. They also use the computers and spend their entire lunch break there. The students talk with their friends and sometimes play games like Jenga , Doctor, and Sorry! They also play Connect 4. They use the computers to listen to music, watch YouTube, or do homework. For them, it’s a fun time where there’s entertainment for a relaxing lunch period.

These are some of the games they play during their lunch break.

Some students always go to the library during their lunch break to study, work on assignments, and relax during the time they have available to finish any work they need to complete.

One of the students, Djenabou, said: “During lunchtime I like to play Uno with my friends and read books because I enjoy the quiet atmosphere and playing fun games in the library.”
