On May 15th, Community School for Social Justice had its second annual forum the multipurpose room, hosted by New York Edge (NYE) members: Ashley, Craig, Bryan and Cody.
Donovan, Zephni, Charlize, Gondo, Victor, JC, Mackenzie, Jacob, Sophie, Cheikhou and Andrew volunteered after school to help with the event. The teachers also stayed late to host their annual forum where they conferenced with parents about their children’s progress in school, tutoring, and getting involved in their children’s education.
Craig said, “I am excited that there are resources for families. I want everyone to eat well and enjoy themselves, and lastly, take advantage of many resources NYE has here. CSSJ and NYE plan to continue to host the forum every year and you can look forward to more good food, spin the wheel raffle prizes and podcasts.
